Level 2 builds on the concepts learnt in Level 1. It is advised to complete Level 1 before progressing to Level 2.
Each new concept introduced in the book is reinforced by technical exercises and performance pieces. In order to present a good mix of technical and artistic challenges, most of the pieces in this book are shorter in length except for the performance pieces, which are longer and more complex. Use these to perform in front of your friends or in public, and to master the concepts learnt in each lesson with an artistic touch.
This course was designed for adult beginners learning without a teacher, but it could be used by anyone above the age of 12. The method book was not intended to be used on its own, it was conceived as part of a complete course that includes video lessons and supplementary materials. Therefore, in order to benefit from the full learning experience, you are encouraged to watch all the accompanying video lessons before playing the pieces in this book. You can do this by enrolling into the free course below!
In Level 2 you’ll continue building on the basics learnt in Level 1. You’ll learn to play in more major and minor keys, play more complex rhythms with triplets and eighth notes in simple and compound time, learn about legato/staccato playing, learn about pop/blues chord progressions and play more technically and musically challenging pieces by the great masters.

This supplementary book includes additional performance pieces and technical exercises at Level 2 difficulty. It can be used as extra practice material for each chapter of the lesson book or after completing the lesson book. It could also be used by anyone who needs a collection of graded piano pieces even if they don’t follow the Beginner Piano Course lesson books.
